SARAJEVO, July 29 (FENA) – The Austrian Embassy in Sarajevo financially supported the project of the Youth Club “Diamond” from Jajce called “Improvement of conditions for recreational entertainment”, i.e. landscaping a picnic area on Small Pliva Lake.
Austrian Deputy Ambassador Nicola Hardwick attended yesterday a promotional beach volleyball tournament organized by the Jajce-Nansen Women’s Volleyball Club on the occasion of the opening of a landscaped field and additional facilities for children and youth.
More than 20 teams participated in the tournament. In addition, the procurement of baskets for paper and plastic waste was included in this project, as well as the construction of a fountain that was put into operation.
“It is a special pleasure for me to see a large number of young people today who play volleyball and use the newly renovated beach volleyball court,” said on this occasion the Deputy Austrian Ambassador Nicola Hardwick.
The activities within the project, in which, among other things, young volunteers from Jajce participated, significantly contributed to better conditions for recreation and entertainment, the Embassy of the Republic of Austria in Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
