BiH exports increased by 7.3 percent

SARAJEVO, March 23 (FENA) – Bosnia and Herzegovina exported goods worth 1.9 billion KM in the first two months (January-February) this year, which is 7.3 percent more than in the same period last year.

In February alone, exports amounted to more than one billion KM and were 11.3 percent higher than in the same month last year, announced the BiH Statistics Agency.

In the first two months of this year, imports in BiH amounted to 2.62 billion KM and recorded a decline of 6.3 percent compared to the same period last year.

The import-export ratio amounted to 72.7 percent, and the foreign trade deficit amounted to KM 718 million.
