SARAJEVO, February 20 (FENA) – The Association of Farmers of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, taking into account the continued rise in prices of raw materials for sowing, is asking all levels of government to react urgently to find a way to introduce the so-called “Blue Diesel”.
“The time for spring sowing is on the doorstep. The prices of production materials for sowing continue to rise, especially in the case of fuel, which is becoming more expensive every day, which comprises a large part of the input cost in agricultural production. Therefore, we are asking for an urgent reaction to introduce the so-called “Blue Diesel”, it is stated in the press statement of the Association of Farmers of the FBiH.
If this measure is not possible to pass, the farmers in the FBiH are asking for an urgent intervention of commodity reserves with fuel at more favorable prices for primary agricultural producers.
