SARAJEVO, September 9 (FENA) – On the occasion of the Day of BH Telecom, the third edition of the “Sarajevo TechLab” business-technology conference is being held in Sarajevo today, presenting a retrospective of BH Telecom’s activities in the past and the importance of telecommunications in the new digital transformation era.
The conference will also present the innovations and development strategies of some of the largest IT companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This year’s conference is held under the slogan #powerofinnovation and sends a clear message of support for innovation, accelerated development and digitalization process in BiH, which will be confirmed by eminent participants and panelists, while students have already been addressed by a well-known innovator and entrepreneur, Mate Rimac.
The conference was officially opened by the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH Fadil Novalić, who said that BH Telecom is a leader in the telecommunications market, that it recognizes the power of innovation and global trends in the IT industry and that it is a company that supports new innovative ideas with special emphasis on young people.
“The IT sector is the fastest-growing sector in the FBiH and the government has recognized it as a strategic branch of development,” said Novalić and wished BH Telecom to become the largest innovation accelčerator in the country if they are not already.
The first panel is related to global trends in innovation in the information and communication industry (ICT), while the second panel will focus on the ways to accelerate innovation.
