SARAJEVO, May 11 (FENA) – The Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, Fadil Novalić, stated today in Tešanj that this town represents a kind of economic miracle.
“We wanted to see how the programs created by the FBiH Government function here and to hear what is missing,” said Novalić.
During his visit to the meat industry Madi, Novalić said that it was commendable that they could guarantee quality in the entire production chain so that we could say that it was a real Bosnian product.
“There are also weaknesses such as large and non-transparent attacks of competition, and the lack of raw materials in BiH, which is why it is imported from Serbia and Hungary,” Novalić explained.
The Minister of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry of FBiH, Šemsudin Dedić, said that the ministry in 2020 supported investments in agriculture with more than 40 million KM, and that he expected the company Madi to be supported this year as well.
The Mayor of Tešanj, Suad Huskić, pointed out that a contract on the construction of a new power substation in the business zone worth 5.5 million KM was signed last week, which will double the potential for electricity use.
He announced that the property relations for the continuation of the construction of the motorway towards Tešanj should be resolved soon.
