SARAJEVO, March 25 (FENA) – Virtual business matching of Indonesia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2021 was held today in Sarajevo, organized by the Embassy of Indonesia in our country.
The focus of the conference was on the food industry and retail market, wood products, services and tourism.
Indonesian Ambassador to BiH Roem Kono said in his introductory address that this business matching is part of the Embassy’s program every year with the aim of improving bilateral trade.
He said that the Embassy of Indonesia will open a non-traditional market access for the countries of Eastern Europe, and especially the countries of the Balkans.
“BiH will be a market destination for products from Indonesia that will be placed in Eastern European countries. The focus of this activity is on agribusiness, wood products, tourism as well as on five leading Indonesian products, namelypaper, palm oil and its derivatives, pellets, briquettes made from coconut shell, shoes and electronics.
I would like to take this opportunity to say that I am open to help BiH entrepreneurs to build cooperation in the supply chain through investment, joint production and joint marketing, both in BiH and in Indonesia,” said Ambassador Kono.
