Covid-19 confirmed in 220 people in BiH, with 23 deaths in the last 24 hours

SARAJEVO, December 28 (FENA) – In the past 24 hours, 1,293 samples were registered with the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 150 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.

New cases have been registered in all the cantons in the Federation of BiH, except in the Podrinje Canton.

As of today, 51,860 patients have recovered in the Federation of BiH, and in the past 24 hours, recovery has been recorded in 338 patients. There are currently 16,845 active cases of SARS-CoV-2.

In the past 24 hours, nine new deaths were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH.

As of today, the total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 2,124, the FBiH Public Health Institute announced.

In the last 24 hours, 423 samples were tested at the Institute of Public Health of the entity of Republika Srpska, and coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) was confirmed in 68 people.

Fourteen new deaths were reported to the RS Institute of Public Health in the last 24 hours.

So far, a total of 1,727 people have died in the RS.

The total number of hospitalized is 891, in the University Clinical Center Banja Luka 327, and in general hospitals 564. Currently, 9,113 people are under health supervision, the RS Institute of Public Health announced.
