SARAJEVO, July 13 (FENA) – Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia donated valuable equipment to the BiH Border Police, such as handheld thermal imaging cameras and protective equipment.
On that occasion, Director of the BiH Border Police, Zoran Galić, said that the donated equipment of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia is of exceptional importance for the BiH Border Police.
“I would like to thank the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Croatia for a valuable donation that will greatly help our police officers in performing tasks and activities in protecting the state border. It is clear that one of the major problems of the BiH Border Police is the lack of specialist equipment. The Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia has expressed its support for the BiH Border Police in this way as well, and I believe that our successful cooperation so far will continue, “Galić pointed out.
Members of the BiH Border Police face an increased level of risk in performing their duties, especially during the migrant crisis, and it is essential that they have good equipment to adequately protect themselves and thus protect the state border, BiH Border Police announced on Monday.
