SARAJEVO, August 12 (FENA) – The Federal News Agency (FENA) is the media sponsor of the Competition Program – Documentary Film of this year’s Sarajevo Film Festival, which will be held from August 13 to 20.
General Manager of FENA Elmir Huremović points out that this is a professional challenge for the Agency, but also a great contribution to media visibility of one of the most important programs of the Festival.
“FENA is a leading news agency, while SFF is the largest cultural and, in many ways, social event in Bosnia and Herzegovina. That is why it is logical to join forces and raise the media promotion of the competition program for the documentary film to a higher level,” Huremović added.
He noted that the organizers of the Festival recognized the importance and potential of FENA, and FENA is also aware of how important documentary film is as a segment of SFF, which is why Huremović has no doubt that this cooperation will result in a new quality to everyone’s satisfaction.
“Our strategic commitment is that in addition to covering and reporting on the most important news from the country and the world, we promote the values of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sarajevo Film Festival has grown into a brand that strongly promotes Bosnia and Herzegovina,” says Huremović.
He announced that FENA, through its network of media and users in the country and abroad, will contribute to the media visibility of one of the most important programs of SFF, i.e. that this beautiful Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina story will be heard as much as possible.
“I believe that this year’s Festival will illuminate Sarajevo with its wonderful festival colors and that the cooperation between the SFF and FENA will be very successful,” concluded FENA’s General Manager Elmir Huremović.
The Competition Program – Documentary Film presents and promotes the best recent achievements of documentary production from Southeast Europe and the South Caucasus, and 16 films are in competition for awards: the Heart of Sarajevo for Best Documentary Film, the Human Rights Prize and the Special Jury Award.
