SARAJEVO, August 10 (FENA) – Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović received today in a farewell visit the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mahmoud Heidari.
Džaferović thanked Ambassador Heidari for his significant contribution to the improvement of good and friendly bilateral relations between the two countries.
The two emphasized that there is a need and real opportunities for further development of relations, primarily in economic cooperation.
Džaferović said that the existing good bilateral and political relations should result in an increase in trade.
Heidari reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to developing comprehensive relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina. They also discussed the fight against Covid-19 pandemic.
The BiH Presidency Chairman Džaferović expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of the pandemic in Iran, as well as hope that both countries will soon overcome the current situation caused by the spread of the coronavirus.
Džaferović wished Heidari happiness and success in his private life and future diplomatic endeavors, stated the Presidency of BiH.
