SARAJEVO, March 2 (FENA) – BiH Presidency member Željko Komšić expressed gratitude to Serbia and its President Aleksandar Vučić today for donated coronavirus vaccines.
“I know that it will provoke various comments, but I would ask people to understand that if only one of 5,000 coronavirus vaccines that Serbia donated to Bosnia and Herzegovina saves a life, then it is worth it,” said Komšić after the meeting of BiH Presidency members with Vučić at the Sarajevo International Airport.
He also thanked for this type of assistance, especially in the circumstances in which BiH found itself with undefined relations with COVAX and the procurement of vaccines.
Komšić stated that it was agreed to hold a summit on economic cooperation between BiH and Serbia in the coming months.
“I hope that today’s meeting, which was the reason for the vaccines, will mean a new shift in the relations between BiH and Serbia,” said Komšić.
