ZVORNIK, September 6 (FENA) – Bosniak students attending the “Sveti Sava” Primary School, Liplje Regional School, are still not attending lessons in school today, after their parents said earlier that “the language of the Bosniak people” was written in the school books, instead of Bosnian language and literature.
The meeting between parents, the principal of the elementary school “Sveti Sava” and the representative of the RS Ministry of Education was not held.
“No one from the RS Ministry of Education showed up, not even the school principal. The children are not going today and will not go to school for the next few days until the language issue is solved. Tomorrow, OSCE representatives are coming to us and we hope for their help,” one of the parents’ representatives, Muharem Sinanović, told FENA.
The elementary school “Sveti Sava” did not comment on the situation.
