SARAJEVO, August 24 (FENA) – BiH Minister of Defense Sifet Podžić announced today that an exercise in which the AFBiH Light Infantry Battalion Group will be assessed at the SEL-2 level will be held next month.
He reminded that in 2019, a self-assessment or SEL-1 was performed, and that last year NATO performed an assessment.
“The final assessment by NATO will be held next year, and in 2022 the Battalion Group should be ready to be sent to the NATO force base,” said Podžić.
He pointed out that this is one of the commitments undertaken in 2017, and that he hopes that the upcoming exercise will be carried out correctly with the help of NATO mentors.
