TIRANA/SARAJEVO, May 9 (FENA) – Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik and the BiH Presidency member Šefik Džaferović met today in Tirana with a special guest of this year’s Brdo – Brijuni Process meeting, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini.
The topic of the meeting was the constituting of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the fulfillment of the remaining conditions for the acquisition of a candidate status with the EU.
Both sides expressed the need to keep the positive momentum on the country’s European path, taking into account the ongoing situation.
The EU High Representative Mogherini reaffirmed support for the European perspective of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The two Presidency members thanked Mogherini for all the support, saying they believe that the European Commission’s Opinion on BiH’s answers to the EC Questionnaire would be positive and that Bosnia’s status of the EU candidate country would soon be adopted.
At the end of the meeting, the BiH Presidency members invited Mogherini to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina.
