MEĐUGORJE, March 6 (FENA) – Representatives of the Red Cross of the Federation of BiH visited a boarding house in Međugorje where refugees from Ukraine are accommodated.
The boarding house currently accommodates 18 people, including 4 adults and 14 children, who expressed their gratitude to the Red Cross and citizens for their hospitality and support, the FBiH Red Cross said.
It is pointed out that the representatives of the Red Cross of the Čitluk municipality are constantly on the ground, providing them, in coordination with the Secretariat of the Red Cross of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, with significant assistance.
In order to better respond to the current situation, a coordination meeting was held between the FBiH, cantonal, and municipal representatives of the Red Cross, where the activities of the Red Cross have been coordinated for the coming days when an additional influx of refugees from Ukraine is expected.
According to them, the Red Cross of the Federation of BiH will continue to provide support to refugees arriving in our country through its structures.
The humanitarian number 17023 is also active, through which citizens can donate 2 KM to help the endangered population of Ukraine.
