Caricature exhibition on Uborak landfill in Mostar – ‘It would be funny if it weren’t so sad’

MOSTAR, April 18 (FENA) – “Uborak – It would be funny if it weren’t so sad” is the title of the exhibition of caricatures by the association of citizens “Because it concerns us”, which opened in Mostar on Saturday.

The exhibition presents the most interesting, but also the most illogical events during the struggle of the citizens of Mostar to close the landfill at Uborak and finally move it to another location.

-“After a series of other projects, we decided to present our everyday life in this way, the everyday life of the people around the landfill and the citizens of Mostar. We wanted to show in a humorous way what they are experiencing and what some people consciously and unconsciously encounter during their lives in the city of Mostar,” said the president of the association ‘Because it concerns us’ Omer Hujdur.

He emphasized that the aim of this exhibition was to once again remind the authorities that they are responsible for solving the problem of the landfill at Uborak and that the lawsuit against the citizens of Mostar should be withdrawn.

The association once again called on the citizens to show that they do care because, they emphasize, “Uborak landfill is a problem for all of us.”
