SARAJEVO, October 21 (FENA) – The focus of this year’s Sarajevo Tourism Festival, which will be held from 23 to 25 October at the Skenderija Center, will be outdoor and adventure tourism as one of the fastest-growing aspects of tourism around the world.
Manager of the Skenderija Center Amer Kapo said at a press conference that this is one of the longest-running fairs in Sarajevo and BiH, and that this year around 70 exhibitors from BiH and abroad will be presented, together with tourism- boards, hotels, tourist agencies, nature parks, carriers, restaurants, manufacturers and retailers of catering equipment, business associations and others.
“Presentations of domestic and foreign tourism offer, professional conferences, lectures, promotions, cultural and art program are part of the content that is on offer to the participants and visitors of the fair,” said Kapo.
Azra Džigal from the Sarajevo canton Tourism Board said that Sarajevo records the largest number of tourists in the Federation of BiH, and in the coming period it wants to become a place where people exchange experiences, create and implement new ideas, do the networking of both local and foreign partners, private and public sector.
The Sarajevo Tourism Festival is being held again this year with the sponsorship of the Administration of the City of Sarajevo.
The fair is open from 10 am to 6 pm and entry to the fair is free of charge.
