ANKARA, March 16 (FENA) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan welcomed at the Presidential Palace in Ankara the members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina who are on an official visit to the country today.
The solemn welcome for the delegation began with the anthems of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Turkey, and then the President of Turkey Erdoğan and the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik greeted the members of the honor guard with the traditional greeting “Merhaba asker”.
After the procedural part, President Erdogan greeted the members of the Presidency of BiH, Željko Komšić and Šefik Džaferović, and then the meetings followed in accordance with the protocol of the visit.
Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović assessed today’s visit of the BiH Presidency to Turkey, which was organized at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, a very important opportunity to reaffirm and strengthen extremely good friendly relations in the political, economic and cultural spheres.
Džaferović noted that they will, among other things, discuss the construction of the Sarajevo-Belgrade motorway and an agreement will be signed, which is the beginning of the implementation of this large project for BiH and the entire region.
The two delegations will also discuss how to improve trade exchange and raise it to a billion dollars a year.
